Server Branding: Icon & MOTD

Make your server stand out in the multiplayer list.

Server Icon

  1. Create an image exactly 64x64 pixels.
  2. Save it as a .png file.
  3. Rename it to server-icon.png.
  4. Upload it to your server's root directory.
  5. Restart the server.

MOTD (Message of the Day)

Edit the server.properties file:

motd=\u00A7bWelcome to \u00A7lMy Server!

Use Color Codes (like \u00A7 for §) to add colors (Aqua, Bold, Red).

Modern plugins like MiniMOTD allow gradients and RGB colors.
